Questions to consider and when you may need a coach.
What made me look for support? I was in pain and I was tired of the pain. When you are tired you will seek help.
What made me invest in coaching? I spent easily about $20-50 weekly on my destructive behavior (like drinks at the clubs, recreational drugs, etc.) Monthly around $200! I figured I could afford something that would help me versus me continue hurting myself.
What was the most significant change? The change in my thinking was the most significant thing. I did not understand how much what I said about myself impacted my life and my future.
What made the change for me? The numbing agents were no longer working. I was ready to change. I wanted to change. I was willing to do the work.
Did you see results right away? Understanding you have a choice is an immediate return on investment. Before I started I did not know I had any choices.
What was your most painful experience? The pain of wanting to die, I did not know how to move past it and I couldn’t on my own.
What is one of the greatest rewards of coaching? Learning how to forgive myself and finding my voice (my ability to own and speak my own truth).
Do you have a coach? Yes and thousand times “Yes”!
